Fatima and Sarah are BFFs, part of their basketball team’s starting 5. But when new girl Wafa arrives things get upset on and off the court. Poetry and passion combine to tell a story of friendship, identity, body image, and basketball.

Asma Elbadawi is a British Sudanese poet, basketball player and a global Adidas Brand Ambassador. Her dual cultural heritage deeply influences her creativity paired with international development and female empowerment.

Number 4 was originally developed as part of Asma's new writing Associate Artist residency with Freedom Studios.

It toured to non theatre community venues and schools venues across Bradford, culminating in 4 nights at Kala Sangam Arts Centre.
